“Praise Him in the Storm”

For many of us the hardest decision we have to make is which refrigerator to buy when the old one breaks down, what color to paint the kid’s room, or what doctor to go to for a sinus infection. But what happens when the doctors are encouraging you to write a ‘do not resuscitate’ order for your hospitalized twenty year-old son? What do you do when doctors tell you that he will be in a vegetative state if he lives?

Pastor Harold Lawrence and his son Joshua (Brian) share their testimony about turning tragedy into victory, turning misery into ministry, and never giving up. They inspire, encourage and share with all how to “praise Him in the storm.”

Harold and Joshua have been invited to speak at universities, city-wide events, local businessmen’s meetings and men’s groups at area churches.

One minute you’re in church in the midst of incredible praise and worship; the next you’re rushing to the emergency room after being told your son has fallen 30 feet from a tree to the concrete. For the next two years your precious son waivers between life and death. You want to give up. You want to cry 24/7. You want to turn your back on God. Instead you turn fully to God and let Him dry your tears, give you hope, and yes, even joy.

Debbie Lawrence shares her testimony of every mother’s worst nightmare and finding God’s special healing when your heart is shattered into a million pieces. Her story is one of a mother’s heart-felt journey to hell and back.

Debbie has shared her incredible story with many one-on-one, and with small groups of women, but, recently felt God calling her to share her witness to larger groups of women.
