Harold has been a Florida resident for 25 years and has recently moved to St. Augustine. He is a retired Naval Senior Chief who holds an Associate Degree from Florida Community College Jacksonville and a Bachelors Degree from Logos International College. Harold & his family are the founders of Thru the Roof Ministries. Harold is married to Debbie and they have three children; Joshua (Brian) Brantner (age 27), Kaitlyn (age 21) and Gabrielle (age 17). Harold has served in ministry for almost 30 years.

Durward White
Co-Chairman of the Board

Durward is a successful business owner and manager of Copymed, as well as a retired Naval Master Chief. His achievements include the Navy Achievement and Navy Commendation Medals. He is married to Maria and they currently reside in Charleston, S.C. Durwood’s experience in the establishment and operation of a successful business are vital for the business-related aspects of the ministry.

Mel Fannin
Finance and Business Affairs

Mel Fannin was born in St. Augustine and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida where he attended Robert E. Lee High School. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Building Construction and owned the Fannin Company for 17 years. He has served on the Episcopal High School Board of Trustees and a number of church and civic boards. He lives in Ponte Vedra Beach with his wife of 33 years, Kathleen. They have two sons and two grandchildren. We welcome Mel as a perfect fit as our business adviser.

Debbie Lawrence
Director of Administration and Special Events

Debbie is currently working full time in the Ministry as the Director of Administration and Special Events. She has lived in Florida since 1967. She has been actively involved in ministry for many years in the areas of drama, women’s ministry, and youth. Her administrative and computer skills are indispensable to the ministry’s publications.

Marcia Fraed
Director of Special Projects

Marcia was born and raised in the Jacksonville area. She has a Master of Education in Specific Learning Disabilities and has 36 years in the field of Education. Some of her community involvement includes: past president of her college sorority, Girl Scout leader, SOS Board, and president of the ECW for the Diocese of Florida. Marcia is married to George and they currently reside in Ponte Vedra Beach. Her skills are perfect to lead special projects.
